MCW President and CEO Dr. Shekar N. Kurpad and Dean of the MCW School of Medicine Dr. Brett Kissela recently paid a visit to MCW-Green Bay, where they toured campus and engaged with MCW staff, faculty, and learners. They also took the time to engage with local community members off-campus.
Drs. Kurpad and Kissela joined in discussions around the impact of MCW-Green Bay on the community and the campus’s efforts to address the shortage of physicians in rural areas. Addressing this shortfall is critical for pushing health forward both locally in Green Bay as well as the state of Wisconsin as a whole.
