This Forbes investigation is a must-read.

Donald Trump pulled in roughly $1.4 billion from crypto in 2025, plus more than $200 million from real estate, and faced a projected tax bill north of $500 million. So his company donated the "development rights" to his Jupiter, Florida golf course to a land trust, argued the course was a natural habitat worth protecting, and kept right on running the club. Forbes estimates the write-off could land around $825 million.

He has done this at least five times since 2005. New York's attorney general alleged two of those appraisals were inflated. In Doral, he claimed a deduction of up to $323 million, more than double what he paid for the entire resort.

A month after the Jupiter deal, he sued the IRS. The settlement his own Justice Department signed bars claims against him over matters that "could be pending," language that appears broad enough to cover this year's taxes. A federal judge found the case was brought to manipulate the judicial process. And the man now running the IRS, who took the job as this deal was being assembled, has a home backing onto those same Jupiter fairways.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody should be able to use the presidency to write his own tax bill.

For 80 years, America's strength has come from standing shoulder to shoulder with our allies. That partnership has kept Americans safe, kept our economy growing, and kept thugs like Vladimir Putin in check.

European leaders spent months trying to flatter this president, and they're done playing along. As the White House teases a big new security deal, our closest friends are holding back. They've watched this president cozy up to Putin again and again, and they're asking whether America will keep its word.

Every family in this country is safer when our alliances are strong.

So are our servicemembers.

Trust like that takes generations to build and only a few years to squander.

I'll keep working in Congress to rebuild that trust and stand with the allies who have stood with us.

This fall, nearly 100 campaigns ran more than 400 ads about members of Congress trading stocks, spending over $250 million to do it. Candidates in both parties made the same promise. No more excuses.

Folks across the political spectrum want Washington focused on lowering the cost of groceries, housing, healthcare, and electricity. And they want to trust that every vote is cast with their families in mind. When lawmakers can trade individual stocks while writing the laws that move markets, that trust erodes.

I don’t trade individual stocks, and I’ve long supported a full ban. I co-founded the End Corruption Caucus to push exactly this kind of reform, and I’ll keep fighting for a real ban that covers members of Congress, the president, and the vice president alike.

A ban is popular with Republicans, Democrats, and independents.

Let’s work together and get it done early in the new Congress, so every American can see their representatives answering to them.

Either we will end the corruption, or the corruption will be the end of us.

Stephen Miller is the most dangerous person in America not named Donald Trump. He has been running much of the White House for nearly two years.

Starting Monday, it's official.

From an office down the hall from the Oval Office, he has had a hand in nearly every policy coming out of this administration, turning his most extreme ideas into federal action. Those policies led to a ruinous political implosion on Tuesday. Rather than learn from that drubbing and change course, Trump is doubling down.

I thought Republicans didn't want a government with too much power over ordinary people. Stephen Miller wants exactly that kind of government, with himself at the controls.

Voters sent a clear message on Tuesday. In January, a new Congress will start sending one too, with oversight, subpoenas, and real accountability for the people running this White House.

Stephen Miller has had a lot of power with very little scrutiny. That era is over.

Families across the country spoke clearly on Tuesday. Gas, groceries, electricity, healthcare. It’s all too damn expensive.

They want relief, and they want it now. That’s where the president’s focus should be, and I’d welcome working with him on it. Marble floors can wait.

Trump speaks out after a historic midterm wipeout:

"We ordered the marble for the floor. The marble is a really significant marble. It's a vein that people have been after for 50 years. And the owner of the quarry didn't want to sell it."
