We run and deploy autonomous AI agents to max our productivity, but we are running them on leased, centralized infrastructure. This is the great paradox of the current AI boom.

Advocating for the cloud-native ecosystem as a CNCF Ambassador has made one thing clear: the future of AI cannot be a black box controlled by a few massive corporations. If we want true innovation, we need infrastructure that developers and users actually own.

At the upcoming Open Source Summit Korea, I am presenting: Open Source AI Agents on User-Owned Infra.

The tools to reclaim our infrastructure exist.

What is your current biggest hurdle when deploying AI agents on your own infrastructure? Let me know below.

Pulled an overnighter to use up my gpt quota before reset
Also feel guilty when my Olares One is sitting idle. I eat/ rest, and my brain goes: You could’ve generated 50 videos in that time
Who is whose workhorse now
An idle GPU renting/ unused AI quota selling app available yet?

Jenni AI is a research workflow: read papers, write from selected sources, trace each claim, and cite it.

lesson from this acquisition: how David Park built in public—even when some of the best updates came late.

0→1M users, 0→$5M ARR, and the failed first product.

our startup was acquired today :)

jenni ai is now part of the digital science family

we fucking did it!!!!!

i could go on and on about why this acquisition is so perfect, but i’ll save that for another time

for now, i want to focus on the fact that we built jenni in public from day one all the way to exit

there was honestly very little i didn’t share, so i hope this archive of our journey can help a few founders on their own fantastical journeys

thank you to everyone who's followed along and witnessed all the pivots, near bankruptcies, and general hijinks that come with running a company

despite the roller coaster, we ended by hitting our highest MRR ever shortly before deal close 🥳

it's been a crazy ride, you all helped me live out my dream, truly

i owe my success to my team, my investors, and my family for all of their support throughout the years

not too bad for a college dropout who had to move back in with his parents!

This Navier-Stokes math controversy just exposed the hard truth: your API logs and prompts are their training data. If your code actually matters, you cannot rely on centralized cloud AI.

Take back control of your data today: github.com/beclab/Olares

>sam altman: "we tried this because there were rumor on the internet"
>rumor: math professor close to solving navier-stokes
>the professor: using codex for a year
>openai: has all his logs
>checked every codex session tagged to N-S
>found the most promising one
>spun up 10,000 agents to finish the proof where he couldn't
>they got caught
>told the guy if you say anything you'll destroy your own career
>he ruins his career over this
>openai: "we did not see his work"
>also openai: "we cannot rule out that de-identified data from their usage helped improve our models"

they stole it lmao
