The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, in collaboration with the Fujairah Environment Authority, organized a field visit to a farm in Al Farfar as part of the Women Farmers of Tomorrow initiative, coinciding with the UAE’s 47th Planting Week.
During the visit, participants learned about the fundamentals of farming and the different stages of plant growth. They also gained practical experience through hands-on agricultural activities and received seedlings to encourage them to continue farming and promote agricultural practices.
The initiative reflects MOCCAE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen women’s participation in the agricultural sector, raise awareness of sustainable farming practices, and empower participants to apply their knowledge in ways that contribute to agricultural sustainability.
