We are thrilled to have been the Official Charity Partner of 2024 Sydney New Years Eve for a second year. The National Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Moment lit up Sydney Harbour pink to raise awareness for breast cancer research and the impact we have made towards our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer, over the last 30 years.

NBCF-funded researcher, Associate Professor Joy Wolfram's project examines how small molecular messages produced by Triple Negative breast cancer cells help these breast cancer cells avoid detection and destruction by the immune system allowing cancer cells to survive and spread to other organs in the body.

We also want to say a big congratulations to @WolframJoy, who was recently named Queensland’s Young Tall Poppy of the Year in the 2024 Tall Poppy Science Awards. This award celebrates emerging researchers who have demonstrated both scientific excellence and a passion for science communication.
