We are pleased to announce that our Code Grey is officially over, and the phone systems at Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) and the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home (NHNH) are back in working order.

A power surge caused a hospital-wide phone system interruption.

On Tuesday July 9, 2024, NGH entered into a Code Grey due to a hospital-wide interruption of our phone systems.

The Emergency Department remains open and fully operational, and patients should proceed with their scheduled appointments.
