Today i can proudly say i successfully “Frankensteined” my PS3 by swapping the defective 90NM with a superior 40NM RSX + additional necessary modifications.

Huge thanks to @JBCTools for being an awesome company and making the best soldering equipment!

This is undoubtedly a major milestone in the PS3 scene! Thanks to @notnotzecoxao for leading this project.

Hopefully this will lead to a full jailbreak being closer for PS3 Super Slim and 3xxx models.

Sad day for the future of “owning” videogames…

-Nomore lending out your games with your friends
-Nomore trade-ins in your local gamestore
-Nomore collector editions other than a downloadcode with a moneygrab “collectible”

2nd hand market & gamestores will vanish soon this way
