OpenAssets has partnered with @digitalasset to bring its markets-in-a-box platform to @CantonNetwork as an implementation partner for DA Registry.

Institutions will be able to issue and manage tokenized assets on Canton through OpenAssets’ platform and DA Registry.

Tokenized assets have uses well beyond issuance.

On @CantonNetwork, institutions can use these assets across applications for settlement, collateral management, and lending, while maintaining control over who can hold and transfer them.

The third asset class in the debasement trade is tokenized Treasuries and money-market funds. They let pension funds, insurers and sovereign allocators hold a hedge against debasement and keep earning yield while they hold it.

Tokenized deposits are bank deposits represented as tokens: still liabilities of the issuing bank, but able to move outside banking hours.
