Orioles Community

This morning, volunteers from @TRowePrice and our Orange & Black Gives Back team partnered with @The6thBranch to plant trees in the Oliver and Broadway East neighborhoods!

This initiative supports the Baltimore City goal of increasing the citywide tree canopy to 40% by 2037 🌳

We are honored to recognize Andrea Torres-Anguiano as the 2026 CollegeBound Scholar of the Year! 👏

Andrea joined us at The Yard during Hispanic Heritage Night to accept her award and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

A graduate of Western High School, Andrea was involved with ¡Adelante Latina!, a program that helps Latina high school students in Baltimore City pursue higher education.

Congrats, Andrea! 🧡

Tonight, we welcomed CollegeBound Scholar of the Year Andrea Torres-Anguiano to The Yard to throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch 📚

This fall, Andrea will attend the University of Maryland, College Park as a banneker/key scholar, the University’s highest undergraduate merit scholarship.

She plans to pursue her passion for improving healthcare in underserved communities.

Last week, Luis De León and Yohel Pozo visited Fallstaff Elementary/Middle School to teach students about baseball, play alongside them, and participate in a Q&A with Spanish-speaking students 👏

#HispanicHeritageMonth

Together with @TRowePrice, Orioles staff joined volunteers across Baltimore to pack more than 127,000 meals for local families in need as part of 9/11 Day’s nationwide hunger-relief effort.

We’re proud to give back to the community we call home.
