The Port Authority's four commercial airports have won Airports Council International North America’s 2026 award for best websites for excellence in design, accessibility, communications, and navigation.

The recognition comes just months after the Port Authority launched completely overhauled websites featuring new airport-specific, AI-powered assistants, simplified navigation and expanded functionality to make travel planning easier.

After more than 37 years with the Port Authority, PATH Director/General Manager Clarelle DeGraffe will retire at the end of 2026.

Construction is progressing on the Port Authority’s new Midtown Bus Terminal, which is being designed to make commuting faster, more reliable and more comfortable.

The state-of-the-art facility will have more room for buses and passengers, modern amenities and better connections to the Lincoln Tunnel. New ramps and dedicated bus staging areas will help reduce bottlenecks, improve bus operations and ease congestion on nearby streets. And for commuters, that means easier connections to the subway, a terminal that’s simpler to navigate, and more places to grab a bite or shop along the way.

The major project is broken up into two phases, which includes:
Deckovers
Ramps
Storage and staging facility/interim terminal
New main terminal
