Walker Buehler is a guy no one’s gonna believe me one day when I tell them I thought he could’ve been one of the greats. He’s had a good career, but I thought he was going to be an era defining kind of guy
Buehler: 207.2 IP, 171 ERA+, defense behind him had +2 FRV when he pitched
Wheeler: 213.1 IP, 150 ERA+, defense behind him had +5 FRV when he pitched

Buys out one year of free agency and all his arbitration years. Hard to imagine he isn’t worth just under 6 mil a year just off the defense alone, and that doesn’t include his improving bat. Not bad
Jacob Young’s extension is for 4 years, $23M, per @ByRobertMurray.View quoted post on X
We extended WHOOOOO
Jacob Young to sign an extension with the Nationals, per @ByRobertMurray.View quoted post on X
“Should the Thunder retire KD’s numbers is the equivalent to “Should the Nats retire Bryce Harper’s numbers” to me. Like, no? Of course not? Why would we do that?
He would be the first player in NBA history to be boo’d during their jersey retirement ceremony, which is probably a pretty good indication that it shouldn’t and won’t happen.View quoted post on X
