Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 released on PS2 20 years ago today.

With a massive roster, midbattle transformations, and story battles spanning DBZ through GT, it felt like an entire anime series packed onto one disc.

Tony Hawk's Project 8 released on PS2 20 years ago today.

You climbed the skater rankings by completing challenges, and Nail the Trick let you control your board with both analog sticks in slow motion.

Watching an empty town come back to life was the best part

Ratchet & Clank released on PS2 24 years ago today.

Every new planet brought different enemies, Gadgetron weapons, hidden Gold Bolts, and gadgets that opened new paths to explore.

The mix of exploration and ridiculous weapons made the original special.

Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron released on PSP 17 years ago today.

You could fight from the ground into space, board capital ships, and play as Jedi and Sith in Heroes vs. Villains mode.

That was a lot to pack into a PSP game.
