Paying gas just to be told “try again” is a terrible trading experience.
On Ethereum, about 2% of router swaps revert on slippage. About half of them traders retry the same swap within 100 blocks.
Simulating 2,525 failed swaps we found that Fynd InBlock, would have
saved 20% of reverting swaps on calm days, and 29% on volatile days.
That's ~$100k-$2M of user swaps that failed, even though the right AMM liquidity was there to fill them – if the route were not stale.
