Here’s what each piece actually does 🧵

Deploying a Solidity contract to a post-quantum Layer 1 is three steps if you already use Hardhat, Foundry or ethers.js:

1. Add a network entry with chainId 9801
2. Set the QoreChain RPC URL
3. Run your usual deploy script

Gas follows EIP-1559, so your fee settings carry over. The contract code stays as it is.

This is the EVM lane, which keeps classical ECDSA for compatibility. ML-DSA-87 is mandatory on the native lane. SVM is restricted

One chain, two signature rules, and the split is deliberate.

Native lane: every transaction needs an ML-DSA-87 signature. Strip it and the transaction is rejected at signature verification.

EVM lane: classical ECDSA, so Hardhat, Foundry and ethers.js keep working on chain ID 9801.

QoreChain's native lane already requires an ML-DSA-87 signature on every transaction, on mainnet.

Strip the ML-DSA-87 signature from a QoreChain native lane transaction and it never reaches execution.

The protocol rejects it during signature verification, before funds can move or a contract can run.
