Webinar : The Senate passed the Protect College Sports Act (S. 4668) 77–22 on September 28, 2026. It now sits in the House, where its future is uncertain. If it becomes law, every school, conference and association would have 270 days to follow specific standards for concussion, heat illness, rhabdomyolysis, sickle cell trait and asthma. Medical staff would have autonomous, unchallengeable authority over return-to-play decisions.
