I’m incredibly honored to have been sworn in yesterday to represent Texas’s 18th congressional district, and to have my wife Kaitlyn by my side.

I stand on the incredible legacy built by this district, and today I’m ready to get to work.

Trump begging UFC fighters to run his press shop.

Even they can’t protect your administration from being held accountable next Congress.

Trump: “I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States. I have requested that he bring with him assistants, even though some are not from our Country, of Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris. We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left. Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

Trump is promoting the man who was the architect behind ICE’s mass enforcement campaigns, which resulted in the murder of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo right here in Houston.

A man who led Trump’s efforts to tear institutions apart in the name of “anti-white racism”, to roll back civil rights protections, and to restrict voting rights.

Trump learned exactly the wrong lessons from the election.

Houston is a city of innovation, and we should be at the forefront of shaping what comes next.

That means bringing industry, government, and our communities together to make sure we’re advancing technology responsibly, protecting people, and creating opportunities for everyone to be part of the future of tech.

Glad I could be a part of conversations at AfroTech about the future of technology and innovation.

Thank you, TX-18. Representing you in Congress remains one of the greatest privileges of my life.

No matter what comes our way, my commitment to this district remains the same: making sure every family has a fair shot at a better future.

We've got a lot of work to do, and we're just getting started.
