Last night, the American people spoke loud and clear. While I’m disappointed, 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘄𝗻.

Fighting for working families, farmers, and small businesses has always been my mission, and no election will change that. The future of our country and party is still bright. I’m ready for the fight ahead.

Our veterans fought to defend the Constitution and protect the freedoms we enjoy every day, so it’s my job to fight for them in Congress.

I’m proud to have helped deliver more than $11 million to veterans in southeast Missouri, and I’ll never stop working to ensure they get what they’ve earned.

As a member of Congress, helping folks back home has always been my top priority, and I’m proud that we’ve been able to help southeast Missourians recover more than $161 million in IRS refunds that were caught up in bureaucratic delay. 

That wasn’t the government’s money — it was yours. I wrote the Working Families Tax Cuts to give farmers, families, and small businesses a tax code that works for them, but tax relief only works if you actually get your refund. My office works every day to help constituents resolve issues with federal agencies, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re having issues getting back what’s yours.
