BREAKING: I have sent a letter to @TheJusticeDept requesting an investigation into the violence that broke out at the Denver anti-ICE protest on Friday.

Multiple journalists and counterprotestors, including some of my constituents from Colorado’s Fifth District, were assaulted & sustained serious injuries.

Freedom of speech doesn’t allow you to assault those you disagree with.

Last week, I met with Blue Star Families here in our Colorado Springs office.
