American horses carried our pioneers, served beside our soldiers, and have been part of our nation’s story for generations. They deserve better than being shipped abroad for slaughter.

I led a letter urging President Trump and the USDA to end the export of American horses to be slaughtered for human consumption abroad.

It’s time to end this cruelty once and for all.

Hoy, en las Naciones Unidas, vimos un espectáculo lamentable que retrata al régimen de cuerpo entero: gritos, interrupciones e intimidación cuando alguien se atreve a decirles la verdad en la cara.

I commend @michaelgwaltz for exposing the Cuban dictatorship’s corruption, abuses, and lies before the world.

Today at the United Nations, the regime put its tactics on full display: shouting down its critics, disrupting the proceedings, and attempting to intimidate those who dare to confront it with the truth.

It is the same playbook the dictatorship has used against the Cuban people for decades. When it cannot defend the indefensible, it resorts to intimidation and censorship.

They can shout all they want. Their days are numbered.

The Castro regime has profited at the expense of the Cuban people with luxury cars, expensive watches and a private island resort. As I shared this with the world, regime thugs rushed the stage to interrupt my speech.

They can intimidate their own people in Cuba but think again about trying that nonsense in the United States of America.
