How I became a top 100 Rocket League player in the world again in just 3 days.
After years of not seriously playing ranked, I decided to come back.
At first, I struggled quite a bit. My mechanics were rusty, and I was losing games I felt like I should've been winning.
But instead of mindlessly continuing to queue, I took the time to analyze my games and figure out exactly what needed to change.
I studied the strategies the best players in the world were using and focused on implementing them into my own playstyle.
Every time I struggled, I looked for something I could change instead of continuing to play the exact same way.
And once I started consistently applying those changes, winning became significantly easier.
After just about 3 days, I was back in the top 100.
This week, I'll be focusing on helping my students understand and implement those same strategies into their own gameplay.
I genuinely believe so many players could be significantly higher ranked if they understood which strategies work best for their game mode and actually applied them consistently.
You can't keep doing the same things and expecting different results.
