Today I witnessed the most selfless, inspiring, gift of life 💝 My colleague & dear friend Aleks just donated a kidney to a complete stranger. I had no idea what to take this incredible human! So I got a plush kidney to keep her remaining one company 💜

So happy to see my favorite @Tiff_Caza by her poster on KM55 staining on IgAN biopsies! She’s a superstar pathologist & I’m so grateful for all her incredible contributions to Nephrology!

One great example is this KI publication published a few months ago which I shared in my talk yesterday. Definitely worth a read!!

When you’re scheduled to give a talk on APRIL/BAFF & IgAN biomarkers 24 hours after a #KidneyWk plenary session with 3 IgAN late-breakers (!!!)….you are up all night making brand new slides 🙈

Totally worth it when you walk in to see a packed room of colleagues (who stayed long after lunch to engage in discussions with us!!)

So many of us have been using Rituximab for these patients but we never had a trial in adults supporting it. Now we do! #TeamLessSteroids!
