Sharp spikes in market fear have often been followed by a rebound. But that doesn't mean the selling is finished.

@TheProfInvestor looked at every day since 2007 that the VIX jumped more than 40% in one session. SPY was green a month later in 26 of 32 cases, with an average return of +3.12%.
