After a full day of activities in Nay Pyi Taw, I met with the Heads of Mission of ASEAN Member States and Japan in Yangon, Myanmar to brief them of the outcomes of the humanitarian mission, as well as the salient points of my meeting with Myanmar Foreign Minister, U Tin Maung Swe. I also exchanged views with fellow ASEAN Member States on developments in Myanmar and how ASEAN and its Dialogue Partners may continue its work in assisting Myanmar, particularly towards the further implementation of the Five-Point Consensus.
