Democrats promise to sabotage every nominee and shut down whatever they can to inflict maximum pain upon our country.

We have less than two months to confirm, pass, and fund everyone & everything Americans need for two years.

Because Democrats won’t be giving them anything.

Codify President Trump’s border security policies into law. Get it done.

I’m with @SenRonJohnson.

We shouldn’t rush back into Senate leadership elections without having some hard, necessary conversations about how we move forward.

Since 1934, leadership elections have occurred about 40 days after an election.

Since 2006, that timeline has shortened to just nine days.

There’s no reason to rush a leadership election — especially after a defeat.

I’m no fan of pro forma sessions and I’m on record urging our leadership to allow recess appointments.

To my knowledge, President Trump has not demanded that they stop—if and when he does, I’ll back him up every inch of the way.
