How did one racehorse potentially bring down Manchester United? 🤨

The story begins in 1999 with a dinner speech, a friendship between Sir Alex Ferguson and owner John Magnier, and a horse called Rock of Gibraltar.

A row over stud fees between Ferguson and major United shareholders Magnier and JP McManus spilled into the boardroom.

It led to the ‘99 questions’ sent to the club’s board, a £2.5 million settlement, and the sale of their shares to Malcolm Glazer in 2005.
