Trevor Matich

Much respect and credit to Utah for the 28-20 win over BYU.

BYU outgained the Utes 391-330, but Utah deserved to win by playing more cleanly, and dominating the second half.

Turnovers:
BYU 4
Utah 2

Penalties
BYU 11-80 yds
Utah 4-19 yds

2nd half BYU drives:
1. INT
2. 3 plays 0 yds, punt
3. 3 plays 0 yds, punt
4. INT
5. INT

There is a lot of football to be played, and BYU is still in the hunt. But today belongs to the Utes. They earned it.

The. Greatest. Home. Win. Ever!

The way it started, with GameDay...

The way it ended, on the last play...

Just wow.

Halftime, BYU leads Notre Dame 21-10. A lot of football left, but remember that Ty Detmer had a huge day while beating #1 Miami, jump started his Heisman campaign.

Bear doesn't have huge 1st half stats, but he's making the key plays--led 4 drives, 3 TDs.

Getting fun, huh?

It's often said that BYU is a special place. As a former player there, Zubin Mehenti asked me why...
