The Catching Guy

These catcher initiated timing picks are becoming an almost nightly occurrence.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… if you’re not incorporating these into your games, you should be!

Super athletic pick and back pick by Kirk!

Best times to back pick are on a missed or pulled back bunt attempt OR, a bounced pitch that you pick.

The base runner will almost always extend their secondary and be easy pickin’s.

I got asked about Mask or mask off when catching a pop up…

I said it’s a matter of preference but if you do take it off, toss it to the umpire so you don’t step on it. 😂

One of my all-time favorite throws!

Why?

1. It’s Yadi!
2. The baby blue gear is fire!
3. He threw out Acuna!
4. The knee throw technique is 👌

He gone! 💪🔥
