Great guest post by @sarojniraula, discussing his recent @JCO_ASCO editorial with Ian Tannock!
@TheWonkologist et al. showed that payments as small as $45 are associated with prescribing decisions involving anticancer drugs.
And these drugs can cost tens of thousands of dollars per month!

Informative censoring is often seen as too technical, and its impact can be difficult to assess.
In my recent lecture at @MDAnderson_ES, I tried to break it down into more intuitive concepts, using the Breaking-ICE App, an application we developed, with the PATINA trial as an example.
Hope you will like it! @Alfdoc2 @hug_ge @UNIGEnews

Hey #ESMO26 !
Come to see our 2nd poster, today, 12 am, Hall5!
We often talk about informative censoring for drugs, but what about informative censoring in non-drug oncology trials?
Like any intervention, exercise, behavioral, and supportive care interventions can be burdensome for some patients, potentially leading to dropout.
Our work suggest some level of "burden"-driven informative censoring may happen in such trials + see our sensitivity analyses incl. the CHALLENGE trial!👇
