@USIBC and @KPMGIndia hosted an executive roundtable in New Delhi on 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, bringing together government and industry leaders to explore how India can translate its nuclear energy ambitions into tangible projects.

With India targeting 100 GW of nuclear capacity by 2047 and the SHANTI Act opening the sector to private participation, discussions explored financing models, technology choices, supply chain readiness, growing energy demand and opportunities for U.S.–India collaboration.

The roundtable also brought together representatives from the 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, @ntpclimited, @ENERGY and the @USAndIndia, alongside leaders from industry, banking, legal and research institutions.

Building on our joint report, 𝐀𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐭-𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨: 𝐀 100 𝐆𝐖 𝐁𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐍𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, USIBC looks forward to continuing this dialogue and advancing opportunities for U.S.–India collaboration in the nuclear energy sector.
