We are pleased to announce that Updata Partners VIII led Kalepa's $75 million Series B investment.

Kalepa is an AI-native platform that runs the underwriting decision from submission intake through policy bind for property and casualty insurers. The platform reads every document in a submission, scores each risk against the carrier's own appetite and portfolio limits, and returns a cited, auditable rationale, so underwriters spend their time on the risks worth writing rather than on the paperwork in front of them. Submission volume has surged across the industry while underwriting capacity has not followed, and Kalepa's mission is to close that gap by helping carriers select, price, and serve risk better than anyone else.

What stood out to us:
- Impressive team led by co-founders Paul Monasterio and Daniel Hillman
- Mission-critical system of action and record embedded in the underwriter's daily workflow
- Well positioned within a massive, largely greenfield underwriting market
- Over 100% Y/Y growth and profitable, with best-in-class retention and unit economics

We are excited to partner with Paul, Danny, and the full Kalepa team!

Congrats to the TitanX team on launching the Precision Dialer!

It combines TitanX’s Phone Intent™ scoring, number-reputation protection, and single-line dialing so reps call the prospects most likely to pick up.

The results: teams using TitanX are seeing connect rates roughly 3.5-4x the industry average, based on an analysis of 3M+ cold calls.

Exciting times for TitanX!
