Last month, Dr. Yousif Hanna, general surgery resident, presented his research at the CHEST Annual Meeting in Phoenix. He did this research with Drs. Daniel McCarthy and Andrea Axtell, faculty in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

It’s Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. Members of our Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery are leading the way in research, procedures, and clinical trials to advance lung cancer treatment.
