What happens when two financial institutions tokenize assets on different blockchains?
Both systems may work perfectly on their own, but moving value between them introduces an entirely different set of challenges.
This is where interoperability becomes more than a technical feature. It becomes a question of how financial markets operate across different networks.
The future of on-chain finance may not depend on which blockchain institutions choose.
It may depend on how well those choices work together.

For decades, we’ve built the internet around human interaction.
Websites designed for people to browse. Marketplaces built for people to shop. Services that assume a human is on the other side of every transaction.
AI agents are beginning to challenge that assumption.
As agents increasingly discover services, coordinate with one another, and exchange value independently, we may see an entirely different kind of digital economy emerge.
One where businesses serve both human and machine customers. Where software negotiates with software. Where some services are built without a human interface at all.
It raises an interesting question:
Are we simply making the internet more efficient with AI, or are we witnessing the early stages of an internet designed for a different kind of participant?

What does an AI agent actually pay for?
At @XDCNetwork's “Unsupervised” build day at Hub71, agents used USDC to buy coffee, merchandise and services from other agents.
A practical look at how AI and blockchain can work together in everyday commerce.
