Everyone thinks computer use agents are the future in healthcare, but you can't just let agents run amok in EHRs without any guardrails.

Our summer intern, @shayaan_azeem, took a better approach: he created a system for agents to build EHR browser automations without ever letting one act unsupervised in prod.

Shayaan was an awesome intern this summer, and it was a blast watching him build this.

Here's the full write-up: build.forus.com/ehr-browser-au…

Where can I work that won’t be made obsolete by the next model?

A defensible career means riding the exponential instead of racing it, and working on something that will still matter post-AGI.

Getting people their medicine means navigating payers, pharmacies, prior auths, and manufacturer programs, all at national scale. Yes, better models will make this work faster, but the goalposts keep moving towards a healthier future. The network we’re building at @forus across these stakeholders also only gets more valuable as we scale.

If you’re thinking through your next move in applied AI, research, ML infra, or security, I’m happy to chat. My DMs are open.

An Anthropic researcher just told a room full of PhD students that their career plan no longer exists

His 3 pieces of advice for students:

1. Use AI every day. If you're on the exponential, you'll never fall behind it.
2. Choose projects that get better when compute scales. The rest will be solved before you finish them.
3. Stop planning your career as if it were stable. The safe option no longer buys safety; it no longer exists.

And a phrase that sums it all up:

"Writing is thinking. If you outsource your writing, you outsource your thinking."

The talk is titled "The End of the Anthropocene"

I joined @forus just a few months ago and we've tripled our valuation in that time. And we're just getting started.

We're building long-horizon AI agents that are helping people get medicine more quickly, easily, and affordably. And we're partnering with the top biopharma + biotech companies to accelerate medicine.

Haven't seen a company grow this quickly since early Uber days... if you want to make a HUGE impact and you're a top engineer/researcher, please apply. DMs are open.

Most people don’t know how accurate their LLM judge actually is.

At @forus we are building AI agents to automate medication access. Accuracy is critical as errors can delay when someone gets medicine they need.

Awesome blog post where @IsabelChien_ breaks down how we evaluated our LLM judge - highly recommend for anyone building evals today.

Most evals can tell you when an LLM judge is right, but not when it's silently wrong.

At Forus, our LLM judge reads prior authorization forms and decides whether a patient's medical record supports them. A missed error delays someone's medication.

To catch those failures, we built a way to generate realistic wrong answers and test the judge against them.

Here's how 🧵
