Dr Shadab Khan, Senior Scientist at ADIA Lab, will join healthcare and technology leaders for an executive panel at the Official Opening & Plenary Session of the 9th Zimam Digital Health Forum (GCC eHealth) in Dubai.

Titled “How can AI transform electronic medical records from systems of record into systems of intelligence?”, the session takes place on November 4, 2026, at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. It will explore the future of AI-powered EMRs, building clinical trust and safety, and the opportunities ahead for the UAE and the wider region.

Dr Khan will draw on his work leading AI research in Health Sciences at ADIA Lab, which is a sponsor of this year’s forum.

The ADIA Lab Symposium 2026 concluded with a final day focused on Deployment, examining how advances in AI and computational science can be translated into practical applications across industries.

The final day also featured the JFDS Award Ceremony, award presentations and poster sessions, providing opportunities to recognize scientific contributions and exchange research insights.
