a zkVM is a list of rules. if one is wrong, a fake proof can pass with no warning.

Lambda VM, the zkVM we're building with @class_lambda and @3miLabs, is made to be checked: about 50k lines that mirror a written spec, on a proving stack it shares with no other zkVM.

the same reason ethereum runs on several clients.

under active development, not yet meant for production use.

what we took home from @EFDevcon:
1) formal verification is moving from research to practice, with many teams adding it.
2) AI ships code faster, which raises the bar for checking it.
3) post-quantum is a roadmap item now, not a thought experiment.

Some thoughts on @EFDevcon that finished:
- Amazing energy from the whole Indian community.
- DevCon with the best food (Indian food has become my favourite, you definitely need to try Indian food in India)
- AI has made a huge impact on how we develop and ship, but also poses significant risks.
- Formal verification was among the hottest topics and many teams are incorporating it.
- Ethereum has a very clear roadmap and has made significant progress in key areas, including post-quantum cryptography, decoupled consensus.
- Great time to join with friends and colleagues and discuss new opportunities and challenges
