For the future, this account is being changed and will be the official account for ar3na.gg - our tournament organizer in Counter-Strike!

2024 was exciting for us, and 2025 is looking even brighter, so make sure to follow along for updates on future tournaments!🥳

We (AR3NA) will be the tournament organizer for Epicbet Open #2 partnered by Epicbet.

From December 14th to December 19th, 10 teams will battle it out for a 10,000 USD prize pool with 6,000 going to the winner, 2,000 to the second place and 1,000 to each of the 3rd-4th placed teams

The tournament will feature 6 direct VRS invites with the two highest ranked teams going straight into the semi-final (playoffs starting December 18th). Another 4 teams will come from 2 open qualifiers.
The 4 lowest ranked VRS invitees and 4 open qualifier teams will start in 2 GSL groups. The top 2 teams from each group will move on to the playoffs where the winner will face the second place from the other group. The winners of these matches will face the direct invited playoff teams.

Direct invites
For the direct invites, 2 teams will be from a filtered EU VRS list with only teams with a Danish core (meaning 3 or more players), starting with the rank 1 team on this list. 2 other teams will be from a filtered EU VRS list with only teams with a Swedish core (meaning 3 or more players), starting with the rank 1 team on this list. The last 2 remaining teams will be from a filtered EU VRS list with only teams with a Finnish core (meaning 3 or more players), starting with the rank 1 team on this list. For all lists, should a team be within the top 12 on the global VRS on the invitation date, we will forego this team according to rule 3.8.4

All three VRS lists will be filtered from the EU VRS list for November, published on November 2nd, which will also be the VRS list used for seeding for the main event. Invites will start on November 14th.

Visa region: Schengen. All tournament stages, including the open qualifiers, will be played entirely online on European servers, potentially including Norwegian servers. No travel or physical attendance is required by AR3NA.

Regarding open qualifiers:
The tournament will feature 2 open qualifiers with 4 teams qualifying for the event. Dates will be announced at a later time, and the following quailifiers will not necessarily be held in the chronological order as below listed. Rules for participating teams available to play are listed below:

Q1: Only teams with a core (meaning 3 or more players) from Iceland can participate. 2 teams will qualify from this qualifier

Q2: Only teams with a core (meaning 3 or more players) from Norway can participate. 2 teams will qualify from this qualifier.

The open qualifiers will follow the November 2nd EU VRS list for seeding followed by FACEITs default seeding (support.faceit.com/hc/en-us/artic…) for teams without a VRS rank

AR3NA will disqualify teams from a Direct VRS invite should a player on the team be banned by ESL FACEIT Group, ESIC or other major tournaments organizers, via Valve Anti Cheat, or on any anti-cheating platform (including, but not limited to FACEIT and Akros)
