It is with great shock and sadness to learn about the passing away of Las Vegas hoops titan Mike Carter. Mike was a pillar of support in the @BishopGormanHS community (serving as a coach & support staff at the school - was recently honored by BG for 30 years of service to the school) as well as the greater Southern Nevada basketball community. He was a loving husband & father who also coached his two sons Tim & Ben on his Las Vegas Lakers club team. Mike graduated from Eagle Rock HS/CA, won the 1979 NAIA title at Drury University/MO and played 11 pro seasons in the Israeli Premier League. We will all miss him. May his memory be eternal
