The problem with invoking the 25th Amendment is that Vance might be worse. Tough choice for the new congress.

So here's what happened in today's Stupid Olympics.

There are two people named Dana White.

One is President and CEO of the UFC

The other is Dana W. White, who served as the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs and Chief Pentagon Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Defense under Secretary James Mattis

Their pictures are below. He's the white guy. She's the Black woman. I'll call them UFC Dana and DOD Dana to make it easier for you.

Suzie Wiles, shortly before being replaced by Count Stephen Miller, advised Trump that his new Press Secretary should be Dana White.

And Trump in all his finite wisdom, immediately assumed the UFC Dana, who has never done anything to prepare him for press secretary, and not DOD Dana, whose entire career has been in preparation for that.

Now you might be saying, "Kelly, not everyone knows about DOD Dana. It's an honest mistake."

But he's NOT just "everyone." He's the President of the United States. And this is a man whose administration has been firing Black people, women, trans people, and so on, insisting that none of them got their job based on merit.

And then he's going to name someone completely unqualified to be Press Secretary because the President is a fan of the UFC.

And he didn't even think to ask anyone. It never even occurred to him to ponder whether UFC Dana is the person he should pick as Press Secretary.

Stupid and incurious are a dangerous combination, and this man is both of those things.

And that got me to thinking about the two Dan Sullivan in Alaska. And I get it now. The man who is too stupid to know the difference between two Dana Whites thinks Alaskans are too stupid to know the difference between two Dan Sullivans.

Ik moest net echt even checken op de site van Buitenhof of die gast die daar achter Paul Rosenmöller klaarzit om later aan het woord te komen niet Hunter Biden is.. Het blijkt luitenant-admiraal b.d Rob Bauer te zijn.

My final words on the "it is *easier* to cool things down in space" controversy.
(1) I never said it is impossible to cool things down in space; I just pointed to the fact that two of the three means (conduction, convection) are not available. There is only radiation. On earth there is all three at the same time.
(2) There are some details about radiation being more effective in space (space does not radiate back), but that does not fully compensate for the lack of conduction and convection. So physics indeed suggests it is easier to cool on Earth. I stand behind that, but I am happy to be corrected.
(3) But there are, of course, other ways in which it is actually *easier* in space to cool things down. Somebody pointed out that radiators can be passive, so it is much simpler technology than circulating coolants, etc. Easier indeed. Others pointed out it is easier to scale in space. Easier indeed. And I already suggested Elon needs no permits to scale in space. These forms of "easier" are, I think, what Elon has in mind. And I apologized to him for thinking he might have been disingenuous towards investors by making them think "easier" applied to space being cold.
(4) Many disputes revolve around misinterpretations of each other's words.
