GENERIC EVERYTHING
THE ALBUM
OUT NOW.
This has probably been the most challenging album we’ve ever made. The world feels more uncertain than ever. The pace of change, the sheer volume of content and the rise of AI have made it a strange, exciting but also overwhelming time to be creating. Almost overnight, it feels like what it means to be a musician or an artist has shifted.
Coming from the DnB scene, new technology has always been part of what we do. We’re excited by where it’s going and the opportunities it opens up for more people to create. But it also feels easier than ever to fall into repetition, to reach for something predictable.
The name Generic Everythig is not a critique on music or art in general but a personal reminder to us to think differently, keep pushing our sound and to resist some of the easier options, however tempting. Maybe this is true for all artists. Now more than ever.
Hope you find some bangers on the album! And come and mosh out at a show with us soon.
Will and Saul.
