🚨BREAKING: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has admitted to an affair with a woman U.S. intelligence reportedly believes was recruited by China to spy on him and influence U.S. chip export policy.

“I was unfaithful to my wife. My actions hurt her and our children. There is no excuse for what I did,” Huang wrote in a draft apology to employees obtained by Axios.

Nvidia’s board has launched an independent investigation overseen by outside counsel.

The board says it has no reason to believe company secrets or U.S. national security were compromised. Nvidia says Huang will continue as CEO without interruption.

BREAKING: Anthropic has struck a $3.4 billion deal to secure 1.7 gigawatts of Caterpillar gas-fired generators for its AI data centres, the FT reports.

Rather than buy electricity from Texas supplier OnePWR as initially planned, it took over generator orders OnePWR placed two years ago, securing equipment already in the delivery pipeline.
