We built an AI evaluation through collective intelligence. About 2,200 people in the US, UK and India deliberated over what good AI behavior on free expression and political neutrality looks like, and their answers became the evaluation.

The CIP Research Fellowship has officially begun! We’re proud to announce our new fellows: Mariana Meireles & Julian Yocum, Sheza Munir, and Jessica Dai.

These researchers will work on the following:
* mapping probabilistic models of disagreement in AI-enabled deliberation
* distinguishing between genuine versus surface consensus within our global sample
* assessing what makes for high-quality public feedback for AI
