The leading Texas-based technology association founded to represent a growing emerging technology sector is broadening its mission as the infrastructure behind the digital economy rapidly changes.

Effective today, the Texas Blockchain Council is now the Digital Infrastructure Network (DIN), reflecting an expanded mission across artificial intelligence, data centers, energy, advanced computing, quantum technology, fintech and digital assets.

Luxor Energy, the energy division of @luxor and @BentausOfficial report that their Ziani platform cut a live GPU's power draw to 25% of normal in under 500 milliseconds, while inference workloads kept running. It's the first demonstrated AI GPU response to an ERCOT 4CP signal.

Why it matters: ERCOT's Four Coincident Peak program rewards large loads that pull back during the grid's highest demand intervals each summer (June through September). Until now, AI data centers have largely sat outside that conversation as fixed, inflexible load. This result suggests that doesn't have to be the case. GPU fleets could become active participants in market programs, not just consumers of power, with real potential to lower transmission costs.

Congrats to the Luxor Energy and Bentaus teams on a genuinely useful proof point for grid-aware AI infrastructure.

Three more speakers just joined the lineup for TIE Forum, and they round out the conversation in a big way.

🏛️ Abigail Wilson, Director of State Policy, @SIIA , bringing a state and industry policy lens to how technology and innovation get regulated
♻️ Brad Tomm, Director of ESG, @MARA , connecting the sustainability conversation to the AI and energy buildout
⚡ @lee_bratcher , Head of Policy and Government Affairs, @CipherInc , adding an energy infrastructure and digital asset policy perspective

They join a growing roster of grid operators, regulators, legislators, national security leaders, AI engineers, and financial innovators, all in the same room, all on the same day.

If you can see yourself or your company in this agenda, we want you in the room to help drive the conversation.

The biggest roadblocks to data centers aren't always technical.

In just two weeks, Steve McCraw, former Director of the Texas Department of Public Safety; Woody Rickerson, Chief Operating Officer of ERCOT; and Thomas Gleeson, Chairman of the Public Utility Commission of Texas, will join us in Austin to discuss the future of data centers, grid reliability, energy, and technology policy.

If you're involved in technology, energy, infrastructure, government, or public policy, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.
