Missouri state troopers recaptured convicted murderer Jacob Allen Morley, who broke out of a Tennessee prison last week by slipping through the facility's perimeter fence.
Morley escaped the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville on Oct. 25. Prison staff didn't notice he was missing until around 11:30 p.m., and surveillance footage later revealed him crossing through the perimeter fence. Tennessee Highway Patrol dispatch audio indicated he was last seen at the prison around 4 p.m. that Sunday — meaning he had a roughly seven-and-a-half-hour head start before anyone realized he was gone.
Details surrounding his capture in Missouri were not immediately available. A highway patrol spokesperson confirmed the arrest to Fox News Digital, saying more information would be forthcoming.
