don’t get attached. I just drop in from time to time to see old friends and see how the cess pool is doing.

There is no better avenue for incoming House & Senate Dems to take than hearings on wtf is going on with NVIDIA + Trump corruption + AI policy in the U.S.

It has the virtue of riding the wave of anti-tech populism and directing that energy towards the productive need to stop selling these chips to China.

Just so I have it right, the only groups that should exist are entirely membership funded? Is that your position?

No advocacy should proceed with any big dollar donors? Including non-profit newsrooms?

I assume that's about as good-faith a reading of what you are saying as yours of my statement.

I have worked for advocacy groups my entire life. Nowhere have I ever said, nor did I say below, that dark money can never create corruption. Of course it can. I said you were moving the goal posts. Happy to have a separate conversation about donor influence and transparency in the non-profit sector. I've dealt with it my entire career.

This from Dem strategist @ilyseh is important — the Dem operative class truly does not believe the dark money flowing into influence groups, think tanks, advocacy orgs (read: “nonprofits”) can be any part of the corruption problem. It’s revealing — and something to interrogate.
