Senate D's have a chance to lock in a Dem majority at the NLRB deep into 2026 by re-confirming Lauren McFerran before Jan 3.

The fear is that will goad Trump into firing McFerran et al to get their GOP board, prompting a much more perilous legal fight.

One of the few exceptions to a wretched night for progressives: paid-sick day ballot measures passing in Nebraska, Missouri and (likely) Alaska. Will be the three reddest states with such mandates.
