The Ravens released Austin Reed, who was their backup QB on Thursday night.

This opens up a roster spot for QB Jacoby Brissett, who was acquired from the Arizona Cardinals on Friday.

Let's do this one more time ...

The Ravens currently have five picks in the 2027 NFL draft.

Baltimore should end up with eight or nine total picks in next year's draft because of compensatory selections (which will be awarded in the offseason).

Here is a look at the Ravens current picks in 2027:

-1st round
-2nd round
-3rd round
-5th round (selection acquired from AZ in QB Jacoby Brissett trade)
-7th round (received in Cam Jurgens trade)

*Projected comp picks*
-5th round (for losing Isaiah Likely)
-5th round (for losing Dre’Mont Jones)
-6th round (for losing Charlie Kolar)
-7th round (for losing Patrick Ricard)

Picks traded away
-4th round pick: Sent to AZ (acquired QB Jacoby Brissett)
-5th round: Sent to PHI for C Cam Jurgens
-6th round: Sent to SF for 2026 4th-round selection (turned out to be TE Matthew Hibner)
-7th round: Sent to LAC (acquired S Alohi Gilman)

Correction: I missed the 7th-rounder Ravens received from PHI in Cam Jurgens trade

By my count, the Ravens currently have four picks in the 2027 NFL draft.

Baltimore should end up with seven or eight total picks in next year's draft because of compensatory selections (which will be awarded in the offseason).
