I was shocked that 3/4s of designers work in coding agents rather than design tools. This is crazy?? Designers deserve a tool built for them, not just for developers.

That's why I'm building @proto_ide, the designer’s IDE. The shape of Claude Code and Cursor, but with every design feature you wish they’d ship.

Early access signups are open. If you want a tool that finally unlocks your full creative potential, sign up at prototypes.fun :)

Souvla has an app?? I feel like the TAM is 1 and that 1 is me

This week I learned that while 9/10 designers work in coding agents, only 1/10 of them are actually satisfied with these tools.

That’s why I was so excited to present @proto_labs_inc at @tiatplace. A fully featured IDE with advanced design tooling.

Was I tall enough to I see the over my computer? Not really. Could I feel the excitement in the room? 100%. Next time I’ll bring a stool.

I need this???

I opened up a complex Figma file today and was so confused I felt like I was back in Photoshop. We’ve come so far and yet we’re somehow back where we started!
