The fastest GraphQL federation gateway is written in .NET

At least for now… and by a hair. πŸ˜„

Today we’re releasing Fusion 16.5:

πŸš€ The fastest GraphQL federation gateway.
βœ… Apollo Federation compatible.
πŸ”€ Mix and match GraphQL Federation and Apollo Federation subgraphs in a single supergraph.

#GraphQL subscriptions in federated systems have either been hard to scale or leaked infrastructure concerns into the schema.

We think we can do better.

Today we're introducing Federated Event Streams in Fusion 16.4:

β€’ Stateless gateways
β€’ Lossless resumable subscriptions
β€’ A GraphQL schema that models your domain, not your infrastructure
β€’ Multiple event brokers to choose from

Curious what you think:

GraphQLConf 2026 made one thing clear: GraphQL is entering a new phase.

πŸ€– Agents are becoming first-class consumers and builders of GraphQL APIs.
🌐 Federation is converging on a vendor-neutral standard.
🀝 And the community is laying the foundation for what’s next.

Here are our biggest takeaways from an inspiring week in the Bay Area:

UltraCode is great but at the moment I find opus is awful. I not only dislike how opus talks, but rather everything about 4.8 now.

I have migrated most of my work back to openai's codex.

The one thing I really still like opus + UltraCode for is research.
