Today marks a milestone that I’m incredibly proud to be part of.

Our team at the University of Miami and UHealth is the first in the world to bring this new glasses-free 3D visualization technology into the neurosurgery clinic for patient care.

For the first time, patients can see and truly understand their own tumors and anatomy in interactive 3D—without wearing VR headsets or special glasses. Instead of trying to interpret traditional CT or MRI slices, they can explore a personalized 3D model of their own anatomy alongside their physician. That changes the conversation, improves understanding, reduces anxiety, and helps patients make more informed decisions about their care.

Innovation isn’t just about advancing technology in the operating room—it’s about transforming the patient experience in the clinic. This is exactly the kind of future we’ve been working toward.
