when we joined @colosseum last month I underestimated how much you can accelerate in an accelerator

I’m genuinely excited for breakpoint next week. Last year MCPay (now @framesag) won 1st place at @colosseum Stablecoins Track and announced at breakpoint and I was on my honeymoon. I couldn’t be there

This year I’m excited to connect with my fellow cohort mates, colosseum folks and the broader Solana ecosystem.

I love coffee and beer. So let’s find some time to chat over one of these

in the past year alone:
- a dog bit me on the leg while i was skating. the owner's excuse? "the dog hates skateboards." lol
- a dog belonging to a food truck owner bit me on the hand at fmm (music festival)
- three different dogs followed me and my wife on three separate occasions in my neighbourhood
- three dogs (together) followed my inlaws, my wife and i, barking, while we were out for a walk after dinner in my in-laws' neighbourhood

today, another dog tried to attack me while i was walking. had no leash. the owner said the dog doesn't like skateboards. i wasn't even skating lol. i was carrying my board.

and here's the funny part: dogs are legally required to be on a leash at this park park. it's explicitly stated in the municipal regulations. the owner even tried to argue that the law was "debatable." lol

this isn't a dog problem. it's an owner problem. get your dogs under control. if you can't behave responsibly, how are you going to teach a dog to behave?

"my dog doesn't like skateboards" isn't an excuse. it's a reason to keep it on a leash.

my safety shouldn't depend on whether you manage to grab your dog before it bites me. if you can't train your dog and keep it under control, don't get one.

i'm genuinely tired of this shit and have traveled to many places around the world and feel the most insecure at home. so yeah portuguese are the worst dog owners and i feel that i need to expose it.

recorded the whole heated conversation i had with the owner, but dont feel like posting for now. but my position of being quiet about this has ended.
